If you’re trying to get to work or looking for an afternoon’s outdoor entertainment, try the Raleigh Greenway. It has more than 100 miles of public trails. If you haven’t tried it, access is easy from almost anywhere, and you can cycle, jog, or walk your dog.

8. Watch the Cowboys Ride Before You Move On from Raleigh

It’s all about the bull riding at Carousel Farms. Rodeo riders from far and wide gather on Tuesday nights for the show, announced by Carson Davis. Want to try it yourself? There’s a mechanical bull for rookies.

9. Drive a Go-Cart at Frankie’s Fun Park in Raleigh

Just for the fun of it, race one of the go-carts at Frankie’s Fun Park. Don’t like to drive? Frankie’s also offers mini-golf, laser tag, an arcade, a sky trail, and bumper boats. Pick a pretty day and just go.

10. See the North Carolina Symphony Before You Move from Raleigh, NC
