1. See NC State Play Basketball in Raleigh this Spring

2. Get Your Green On at the Raleigh St. Patrick’s Day Parade

March 12, 2016. After the parade comes the Wearin’ ’O the Green Festival at City Plaza in downtown Raleigh.  There will be lots of live music and dancing. Get moving to Raleigh so you don’t miss it!

3. Take the Kids to a Raleigh Easter Egg Hunt This Spring

March 19, 2016. The kids can scramble for eggs at Three Bears Acres, a recreational farm offering kids’ activities in Raleigh. This 50-acre farm lets kids run loose!

4. Shop The Handmade Market in Raleigh in May

May 6 and 7, 2016. More than 50 artists, crafters, and designers will show their work during downtown Raleigh’s First Friday event. There’s music, food and drink, too!

5. Attend Artsplosure, The Raleigh Arts Festival

May 20-22, 2016. Since 1980, Artsplosure has entertained Raleighites with visual arts and crafts exhibitors; Kidsplosure; aerialists and other unusual performers; and ongoing performances from artists in the jazz, blues, and alternative music scenes. Not to be missed!

6. Discover Raleigh Breweries at the Buzz ‘n Go Tour

Beginning June 25, 2016. A combination brewery tour and city tour, the Buzz ’N Go tour includes sights like the Colonial home of the “father of Raleigh” Joel Lane; a story about Grog Alley; a former 5,000-acre plantation; and samples at one of Raleigh’s traditional diners.

7. Tour Raleigh on a Narrated Segway Tour

Get up close to Raleigh history and sightseeing on a Segway! You’ll cover more ground than in a walking tour, and you get Segway training, helmets, and a wireless audio pack to help with exploring your new city.
