WILMINGTON,NC – December 19, 2014 — Travis Few, Owner of Wilmington based Few Moves, was elected to serve on the board of directors of the North Carolina Movers Association on October 26, 2014. Few will chair the scholarship committee, which annually presents a college scholarship.
Few became a member of the NC Movers Association in 2010 and says he has aspired to be a board member since joining the Association.
“I have spent the last six years building Few Moves Moving Company and I want to protect my investment by having an impact on the direction the moving industry is heading.” said Travis Few and that “being a board member will help him do just that.”
As well as chairing the scholarship committee Few will review the applications of potential Association members and attend and participate in quarterly meetings.
Few hopes his position as a board member will allow him to “keep the Movers Association relevant to the needs of moving companies in NC and continue to evolve the industry to keep up with the ever changing environment of our community and state.” Few went on to say that “my personal goal as a director is to gain knowledge of the industry from other members perspectives and experiences and in doing so, help Few Moves continue to thrive and to expand.”
